Spherical bottle in p.e.t., the perfect bottle. In 1996, Luca Casini invented and filed for the patent the first spherical bottle in PET. Its design was inspired by the high communicative and evocative potential of this form but also by the results of studies of certain functional requisites. The sphere, in fact, is the optimal form for withstanding the pressures exerted by fizzy drinks, offering the solution with the best surface- volume ratio and minimum dispersion of gaseous content. Casini has the paternity of this brilliant idea later adopted by world famous brands.
